Stacker Review is free to read because vendors pay us referral fees when readers buy software through our links. Here is exactly how that works.
The short version
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy a product, the vendor may pay Stacker Review a commission. You never pay more because of it, and the commission never changes a score, a ranking, or a verdict.
How the links work
Outbound links to vendors are generated by a single component that appends tracking parameters identifying the page, the placement, and the button you used. Networks such as Impact.com use those parameters to attribute a referral. They contain no personal information about you.
- Affiliate links open in a new tab and are marked as sponsored for search engines.
- Not every product we recommend has an affiliate program. Those links are plain links, and the product is ranked identically either way.
- We never mask destinations. You can always see which vendor a link goes to before you click.
Why it does not change our recommendations
Editorial scoring is completed and locked before commercial relationships are considered. Commission rates are not visible during scoring, and no partner receives advance review of coverage. The rubric behind every score is published in our methodology.
If we ever cannot cover a product independently, we say so on the page rather than publishing a compromised review.

We work with vendor affiliate programs directly and through networks including Impact.com, PartnerStack, and similar platforms. This list changes over time; the disclosure above applies to all of them.
