This policy explains what information Stacker Review collects when you use the site, and what we do with it. It is a template and should be reviewed by legal counsel before launch.
Information we collect
- Usage data: pages viewed, referring site, approximate location, device and browser type.
- Information you give us: your email address if you subscribe or contact us, and the answers you enter into the software finder.
- Cookies: used for basic analytics and for affiliate referral attribution.
How we use it
We use this information to operate and improve the site, to understand which research is useful, to respond to messages, and to receive credit for referrals we send to vendors. We do not sell your personal information.
Affiliate and analytics cookies
When you click an outbound vendor link, the affiliate network may set a cookie to attribute the referral. That process is controlled by the network and the vendor, not by us. See our affiliate disclosure for detail on what our links pass along.
Data retention
Analytics data is retained in aggregate. Messages and subscription details are kept until you ask us to delete them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Email hello@stackerreview.com to make a request.
Children
The site is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify subscribers.
